If you have any question regarding these critters, feel free to ask me.

Let me know if there's anything wrong with the grammar, as I'm still trying to teach myself English. Thanks in advance.

P.S. those blue triangles on Kaiopsis' central discs are actually its eyes, and are strongly bioluminescent. And Ananipode managed to progress from the most difficult to color, to what I consider as a pièce de résistance of this page. Thank God :)

Oh, by the way, I thanked Emile for her corrections, I put them up in this newer version.

Again, very pretty, very impressive work. :)
"resistant to dessication..."; "Any stray animal foolish enough..." (without the comma); and "unique anatomy gives it more..." would clear it up, I think.

These are just amazing! I love the markings on the Ananipode, the color on Kaiopsis, the mind-numbing detail of the crystalline scales on Physachelys...To me these look almost like "fractal life forms," something artificial or grown from mineral crystals. Perhaps evolving and self-replicating nanotech life... I can totally see the South Seas influence in the designs and styling, as well as the more whimsical Pokemon and even Bionicles-style elements. You obviously put such painstaking effort into their execution...Outstanding work!

--Almost forgot to mention, I love the "interface" elements along the sides of these "field guide" pieces--it really gives the sense of an electronic database!

Wonderfull as the first part. I like it, because of the clear lines and vivid colors.

Is it drawn entirely in photoshop?
:icontentaculus:
Yes, the colors are painted in photoshop, but linearts are done by graphite 2B faber-castell pencil. Thanks! :)

Thanks! I owe this guy, Sabu-Kudo :iconsabu-kudo:, for his free, awesome tech brushes. I did my own original design, but it ended up looking like the discarded innards of a cellphone rather than a good holographic interface (you can see the older one in here: [link] )

In the end, I chose the brushes.

I have cleared them up. What can I say? I'm asking those favors because I'm so easy to become embarrassed just by mistakes like those. Thanks so much for the corrections!

And I'm really happy that those designs worked well :)
